Job Description

As a Systems/Application Support Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring stability availability and performance of critical systems and applications. You will provide technical support incident management and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality IT services that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform controlled resolution of incidents and problems including prioritization and escalation.

• Ensure applications/systems availability meets or exceeds service standards.

• Partner with stakeholders to schedule package and release new applications.

• Monitor and maintain production environments to reduce operational risk.

• Provide day-to-day support including accurate problem identification and timely resolution.

• Deliver effective application/system support and maintain proper documentation.

• Participate in change management and ensure smooth implementation of releases.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors when required.

• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.

• Adhere to compliance security and operational standards.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate in IT or related field.

• 35 years of relevant experience in systems/application support.

• Strong knowledge of incident and change management processes.

• Familiarity with application monitoring troubleshooting and system integration.

• Ability to manage workload prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

Assets

• Experience with production environment stability and performance monitoring.

• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Previous experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65600 $98400 CAD annually.
