Injection Molding Process Technician - PSC092225

Pay: $22 - 37/hr Benefits

Industry: Plastic Injection Molding

Schedule: Fulltime / O.T Available

We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join a stable and well-established leader in the plastic injection molding this role you will be responsible for setting up operating and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with molding processes strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of process optimization and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and configure injection molding machines molds and related equipment
Fine-tune processing parameters to meet quality and production targets
Execute mold and material changeovers with minimal downtime
Diagnose and resolve molding issues such as warping flash and short shots
Perform in-process inspections and document findings accurately
Partner with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
Maintain clean and organized workstations in compliance with safety standards
Record setup sheets production logs and troubleshooting notes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or vocational training; associate degree preferred
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in injection molding or plastics processing
Familiarity with mold setup procedures and processing controls
Understanding of thermoplastics tooling and auxiliary systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Strong analytical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to production demands
