Job Summary
Electrical Education Training and Development Practitioner - Roodepoort - Market Related
Primary Purpose
We are seeking an Education Training and Development Practitioner (ETDP) Electrical to ensure that learners and artisans are effectively trained and that all training meets required standards.
Key Performance Areas
1. Training Learners / Apprentices
- Induct learners and artisans prior to training.
- Conduct trainability and trade test readiness assessments.
- Facilitate theoretical and practical training.
- Prepare learners for trade tests within specified time frames.
- Provide feedback to customers and gather input on training needs.
- Conduct final assessments.
2. Administration
- Compile six-weekly client reports.
- Prepare final 12/15-week and assessment reports.
- Ensure proper distribution and record-keeping of reports.
- Participate in disciplinary enquiries when required.
- Process internal requisitions.
3. Consulting Deployment
- Provide consulting services as authorised.
- Generate reports and provide feedback as required.
- Ensure compliance with valid travel documentation and travel policy.
4. General
- Assist with on-site maintenance.
- Accept OHS appointments when required.
- Maintain health and safety standards in training areas.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Recognised Trade Qualification (Electrical).
- Assessor certification is advantageous.
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years relevant experience.
- Electrical and/or Medium Voltage experience advantageous.
- Assessor and/or Moderator experience advantageous.
Behavioural Skills:

- Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in learners.
