Logistics Center Associate Electro-Mechanical Product Evaluation

Location: Auburn MA

Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am 2:30pm

KARL STORZ is recruiting for a Logistics Center Associate to join the Electro-Mechanical Product Evaluation team. This position is responsible for handling and processing electro-mechanical medical devices and equipment within a reverse logistics environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices received within the product evaluation department per standard work instruction.

• Process all devices with highest level of quality.
• Confirm all information attached to device coincides with physical part number and serial number (if applicable) on device and SAP.
• Update software as required to specific designated devices.
• Fill in at any other position within the Product Evaluation Department as needed.
• Support and contribute to the KSEA continuous improvement (LEAN) culture.
• Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• HS Diploma or GED
• Experience working with technical equipment and/or in an IT role a plus
• Ability to use standard office equipment and computer business applications. Working knowledge of MS Office preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to follow direction
• Team oriented
• Effective communication skills
• Dependable
• Punctual
• Ability to work overtime as needed including Saturdays (on occasion)
• Ability to adhere to established safety quality productivity and continuous improvement standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing sitting bending walking reaching grabbing and packing lifting pulling and pushing
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
• Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
• Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
• Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
• Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
