The Opportunity

We are creating a test field in Perafita with a new team to receive project for offshore windfarms and other substation automation systems from local customers and others around the world.We are currently seeking for an engineer specialized in the control & protection area of substation automation that could contribute with a critical analysis during the factory tests and be capable of improving the system in order to deliver quality to our customers.

You will be responsible for develop together with the project core team the protection and control concepts for transmission and distribution systems inclose collaboration with the customer and independently manage both internal tests and final customer tests (FAT). With continuous interactions with the engineering and project management team to carry out the testing works effectively.

How you will make an impact

• Carrying out the testing for the configuration of Protection and Control IEDs for transmission and distribution substations inlinewith customer specification (main software: PCM600)

• Develop together with the project core team the protection and control concepts for transmission and distribution systems inclose collaboration with the customer

• Continuous interactions with the engineering and project management team to carry out the testing works effectively.

• Independently manage both internal tests and final customer tests (FAT)

Your background

• Educational Qualification; Engineering Diploma

• Experience in a control & protection engineer role(preferential)

• Excellent communication skills customer interface skills multi priority and multi-tasking.

• Analytical and strategic approach

• Proven communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English.

• Willingness to work in person and to travel in Portugal
