Job Summary
General job duties and types of procedures required:Nurses care for all types of medical patients. Has negative airflow rooms to care for active TB patients. Many IVs nursing treatments and medication administration. 36 bedsEquipment utilized in the unit/department:Computerized charting - Cerner (preferred) Bedside Barcode Medication AdministrationRequired skills and minimum years of experience:Minimum 1 year experience in Telemetry or IMC. Telemetry interpretation for IMC patients team leading of LPN staff. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required:Illinois RN license required to submit BLS and ACLS are required certifications Shift or schedule requirements:Every Other weekend is expected. Shift to be determined at the time of the request. 36 hours per week
