Boeing is hiring for an Electrical Engineer Technical Designer (Associate and Experienced) to add to our team located in Berkeley MO.

The F-22 Raptor team is seeking an independent worker and self-starter to join our team in Berkeley MO. We are looking for someone with experience in an aviation career field or testing in a lab environment and who can support a diverse team of engineers & technicians providing mission data profiles in support of ground and flight test activities.

The F-22 Raptor Team consists of the F-22 Agile Integration Lab (AIL) Boeing Software Development Lab (BSDL) and the 757 Flying Test Bed (FTB) which has the unique capability to fly prototype software and hardware as well as participate in F-22 Flight Test exercises.

As a highly productive talented self-motivated and creative member of the team you will work with multiple engineering and support groups in a dynamic team environment for both ongoing operational efforts and exciting future projects.

Position Responsibilities:

Work on a diverse team of engineers & technicians providing mission data profiles in support of ground and flight test.
Create and manage Mission Data files for Lab test ensuring mission Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) is properly set up and loaded for mission completion/success. Work with software builds team to transfer and load aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) files from the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) to lab environment using the Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA).
Coordinate with others to maintain and update software on Mission Planning computers to ensure JSIG Compliance.
Support Lab Operations team as backup for COMSEC roles and responsibilities
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires the ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associates degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering physics mathematics data science or computer science
Level 2: Associates degree or higher with 1 years of work related experience
Level 3: Associates degree or higher with 3 years of work related experience
Ability to support flight test with travel up to 25% time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active Secret Clearance
Experience with flight test Mission Data
Experience with aviation avionics
Experience supporting experimental testing
CompTIA Security certificate
Typical Education/ Experience:

Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 3 years related work experience etc.).

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor1 years related work experience 5 years related work experience etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
