CT Technologist (Permanent Role) Location: Palatka FL 32177
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify physician orders prior to performing CT examinations.
- Conduct CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Perform invasive procedures as per established protocols and special instructions from Radiologists or physicians.
- Complete tube warm-ups when necessary.
- Ensure call result exams are promptly sent to Radiologists after completion.
- Stock and organize all necessary supplies at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Communicate supply needs to the supervisor for ordering.
- Perform venipuncture following established protocols.
- Accurately document patient information relevant to the exam.
- Ensure patient comfort and respond to their needs and concerns during procedures.
- Accurately operate computer systems related to imaging and patient data.
- Report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred; acute care experience not required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with (R) and (CT) registry preferred.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.
