Job Summary
- Records accurate clear and complete experimental data and methods
- Interprets data and recognizes errors or unusual results when they occur
- Summarizes experimental results and presents to lab group
- Functions independently as well as actively participate in team responsibilities
- Performs experiments that are routine in nature and troubleshoots studies with supervision
- Takes direction and then manages semi-routine tasks independently
- Helps maintain a clean organized and fully stocked laboratory
- Assists as a contact for EHS and Lab Safety interactions and compliance activities
- Performs various assays including cell-based assays & ELISA/Binding assays
- Aids in the development and qualification of cell-based assays or binding assays
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Accurate and good pipetting ability in both single and multichannel pipetting required
- Experience with aseptic technique cell culture and bioassays particularly cell-based & binding assays highly desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail quality and compliance following assay procedures data reporting and execution of experiments
- Previous laboratory experience in a development or GLP or QC setting is desirable
- Strong written verbal organization and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering biology or related field and 2 years of laboratory experience (either academic or industry) would be preferred
