Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director and with a functional reporting to HR Group you will oversee the comprehensive HR lifecycle for our North America operations delivering all HR & compliance activities to support professionals across multiple locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership
Develop HR strategy aligned with business objectives
Define strategic HR plans supporting current and future needs
Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships and establish key HR metrics for executive decision-making

Operations & Talent Management
Manage employee relations by addressing demands grievances and workplace issues
Coordinate recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies
Drive engagement development and retention initiatives
Oversee performance management systems and training programs

Compliance & Benefits
Ensure full legal compliance with US/Mexico employment laws
Stay current with federal state and local employment laws
Coordinate US payroll compliance and ensure successful internal and external audits
Maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs
Manage OSHA requirements

Team Leadership
Lead and develop team of 3 HR professionals
Provide guidance on complex HR matters and escalated issues


Qualifications :

Experience: 5-15 years progressive HR experience preferably in multinational corporations with multi-state operations

Core Skills:
Deep US labor law knowledge. Knowledge of Mexico labor law will be a plus.
Strong business acumen and communication skills
Change management and goal-oriented mindset
HRIS systems and HR analytics proficiency

Education:
 Required: Bachelors in HR Business Administration or related field
 Preferred: Masters/MBA HR certifications (SHRM-SCP SPHR)

Cross-timezone coordination capability
Cultural sensitivity for diverse multicultural environment
