Job Summary
Ready to be the superhero of well-being Were on the hunt for a rockstar Wellness Manager to join our fantastic team in Stroudsburg United States! As our Wellness Wizard youll be the mastermind behind ensuring our residents needs are met and our direct care programs are executed with pizzazz all while staying true to our communitys vision.
- Be the Captain of Care! Lead train and inspire your team of wellness warriors to provide top-notch resident care.
- Become the Schedule Sorcerer! Conjure up staff schedules that ensure round-the-clock coverage and support for every nook and cranny of our facility.
- Play the role of Performance Guru! Keep an eagle eye on staff performance dish out feedback like a pro and whip up ongoing training sessions thatll make your team say Wow!
- Transform into the Medication Maestro! Conduct the symphony of proper medication distribution and ensure your med cart is so compliant it could win a pageant.
- Don your Health Hero cape! Oversee the wellness of residents and swoop in to assist PCAs with care when duty calls.
- Be the Regulation Rockstar! Ensure everyones dancing to the tune of Personal Care Home regulations.
- Embrace your inner Wellness Ringmaster! Supervise and create assignments for your wellness associates then strut your stuff on rounds to make sure the shows running smoothly.
- Channel your inner Sensei! Help train newbies and transform them into wellness warriors.
- Be ready to wear multiple hats! Tackle any other fun tasks that come your way with a smile and a can-do attitude.
Qualifications :
Superhero Physical Powers
- Be a resident-lifting champion! Youll need the strength to lift turn move and position our awesome residents (30 pounds repeatedly).
- Master the art of resident transportation! Whether its beds chairs bathtubs or wheelchairs youre the go-to mover and shaker.
Your Wellness Fortress
- Bask in the glow of our well-lit well-ventilated wellness wonderland!
- Be ready for surprise adventures! You might need to work extra hours or try on different job hats temporarily.
- Channel your inner superhero during emergencies (think severe weather evacuations or post-disaster scenarios).
- Face the occasional villain: exposure to infectious waste diseases and hazardous chemicals. (Dont worry weve got your back with proper safety gear!)
Your Wellness Wisdom
Experience:
- 2-5 years of clinical experience in geriatric care (preferred). Think of it as leveling up your elder care skills!
- 2-5 years of recreational experience in geriatric care (preferred). Because fun doesnt retire!
- Business savvy in the world of older adults or retirement housing (preferred). Youre not just a caregiver youre a silver-haired industry guru!
Education:
- 4 years as a Med Tech or Personal Care home experience (preferred). Consider this your Ph.D. in TLC!
Certifications for Your Superhero Belt
- CPR certification (or willingness to become a life-saving wizard within 90 days)
- Train the Trainer status (or eagerness to become the Yoda of Med Techs). Must have at least 2 years of Med Tech experience with a current certificate or license.
