Job Summary
Our client is a global technology company with a complex microservices environment and a strong focus on system observability and reliability. You will join a distributed SRE team responsible for ensuring the stability scalability and performance of critical services.
Responsibilities:
- Build automate and maintain dashboards to monitor 30 microservices and their dependencies.
- Troubleshoot incidents identify root causes and escalate to development teams if code fixes are required.
- Automate deployment processes and dashboard creation using Python and shell scripting.
- Monitor logs and metrics to ensure consistent observability across systems.
- Collaborate with service owner teams to improve system health and reliability.
- Participate in calls with cross-functional teams to align on service-level objectives.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Python for automation.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in production environments (Redis MongoDB PostgreSQL MySQL).
- Experience with Prometheus Grafana ELK stack or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with any major cloud provider (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Solid understanding of load balancing and cloud stack concepts.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical field.
- Familiarity with shell scripting for operational tasks.
