Mpower Solar is the largest solar installer based in NYC known for leading the industry in sales design installation and maintenance. We help homeowners lower their carbonfootprint while maximizing energy savings through high-quality dependable solar solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrician with experience in the Solar industy to join our team and perform a variety of electrical service work across NYC. The ideal candidate is reliable detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in the field while maintaining excellent communication with supervisors and customers.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- PerformMain Service Panel (MSP) upgrades relocations and service updates.
- Replace feeders breakers and other residential electrical components as needed.
- Travel daily to customer locations across New York City.
- Ensure all electrical work complies withlocal codes safety standards and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with field supervisors project managers and customers.
- Document completed work with photos and written notes in the company system.
- Maintain a professional and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 2 years of residential electrical experience.
- Solar industry experience with knowledge of Enphase systems.
- Valid drivers license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and service upgrades.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for communication and reporting.
- Ability to lift carry and move electrical materials and equipment.
