In this role youll:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing carefollowing established standards and procedures.
  • Obtain consent and ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Assess and document patient health(history complaints vitals risk factors conditions).
  • Provide care aligned with practice guidelinesand all federal/state regulations.
  • Administer treatments and medications monitoring patient response.
  • Collaborate with physicians providers and community resourcesfor patient needs.
  • Educate patients and familieson health maintenance and managing acute/chronic conditions.
  • Document all assessments and interventionsin electronic medical records.
  • Contribute to care improvementthrough active participation in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor quality assurance datafor acute and chronic care.
  • Potentially leadand guide other nursing staff fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform varied dutiesas assigned to support overall team success.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring:

  • Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience:Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting required.
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire.
  • Required Skills & Abilities:
    • Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interpret technical information write professional reports and effectively present to diverse audiences.
    • Analytical Thinking:Strong mathematical aptitude and comprehensive reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret various forms of instruction.
    • Technical Proficiency:Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) internet navigation and database management.
