Job Description:
Job Duties:
Monitor and manage the flow of facility users using the department data software.
Greet facility users with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Answer questions regarding facility and facility usage.
Answer phone calls and email inquiries about the Physical Education & Recreation Center.
Assist faculty and instructors with questions regarding the facility.
Communicate with the Physical Education and Recreation administrators about any suspicious activities and facility safety or maintenance issues that may arise.
Follow and help enforce all Physical Education & Recreation Center policies and procedures.
Able to attend in-house meetings and training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent
A pre-employment post offer physical exam will be required of the selected candidate. Physical effort required including but not limited to: lifting weights squatting bending reaching spotting and prolonged standing and walking.
Hold a validCPR/First Aid/AEDcertification or ability to obtain certification.CPR/First Aid/AEDclasses are offered to staff at no expense.
Skilled professional communication etiquette
Great interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) or more years in customer service experience
College experience
Possess effective decision-making skills
Ability to communicate and work effectively with students faculty and staff.
