Site Agent
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to oversee and manage the construction process from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards serving as the primary point of contact between the client contractors and suppliers and overall process design and preliminary equipment sizing calculation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the construction process from start to finish
- Oversee daily site activities ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Overall process design and preliminary equipment sizing calculation
- Fully understanding DSD standards requirement under Particular specification (PS) and general specification (GS)
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client contractors and suppliers
Qualifications
- MHKIE in Civil or E&M discipline at least 7 years post qualified
- At least 4 years experience in road and drainage works; or Minimum 10 years of recognized experience in site management of which at least 5 years shall be in road and drainage works
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Sound knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
Day-to-day
- Collaborate with engineers supplier and subcontractors to determine the specifications of the project
- Monitor and report on project progress ensuring deadlines are met
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure project completion within budget and on time
