Position Overview

The Deputy Director of Corporate Security will be responsible for identifying investigating assessing and mitigating active and potential external or internal threats to Wintrust employees and assets. Additionally the Deputy Director of Corporate Security will assist in the development and implementation of strategies to protect employees and assets from those threats.

What Youll Do

  • Serve as Deputy Director of Corporate Security to ensure continuity of operations in the Directors absence.

  • Assist and consult on the development of strategies techniques policies and procedures relating to the protection of employees and assets

  • Oversee and conduct all threat related investigations through to resolution

  • Manage the Insider Threat Program and Threat Management Team

  • Serve as SME and resource in crisis management

  • Analyze the root causes of physical security incidents to implement corrective actions and countermeasures

  • Develop actionable threat-related insights through participation in working groups government organizations and trade associations

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in a criminal justice law or financial related discipline

  • 15 years of law enforcement leadership experience with emphasis on investigations crisis response and threat mitigation

  • Combined 20 years working in law enforcement and/or in a Senior Corporate Security position including leadership experience in both

  • Expert level knowledge and experience in crisis management

  • Certification as a Threat Manager

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $117000.00 - $170000.00 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors such as a candidates qualifications skills and experience.
