We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator in Midland Texas. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting a strong safety culture at the service center. This role ensures compliance with company policies OSHA regulations and industry safety standards by coordinating training conducting inspections and assisting with incident investigations. The Safety Coordinator works closely with management and employees to reduce risk prevent accidents and maintain a safe and productive work environment. The primary focus of this role will be supporting front line employees in the shop and field. The Safety Coordinator can anticipate 20% administrative work and 80% being in the field or shop.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with opportunity for overtime as business demands. Potential for on-call periods to be required.

Pay: Pay starts at $30.35 can be adjusted with experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Assists with the implementation of EHS programs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify hazards recommend corrective actions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate safety training sessions to promote awareness and safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety meetings training incidents and inspections.
  • Assist in investigating workplace incidents near misses and injuries; document findings and recommend preventive measures.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for safety-related questions and provide guidance to employees and supervisors.
  • Ensure proper use maintenance and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE).

What You Will Have:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a clean driving record which generally means:
    • No more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months.
    • No more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
  • High school education or equivalent experience required

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl
  • Consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department

Work Environment:

  • Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
  • Occasionally exposed to high precarious places and vibration
  • Noise Level: Moderate

Summary Pay Range:

$30.35 - $40.65
