Coffeyville Regional Medical Center or CRMC is a 25-bed non-profit critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. Patient Registration Clerk coordinates the daily administration of the department.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the department
- Maintain records logs and databases
- Assure proper stock and inventory of department
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations
Patient Registration Clerk assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients medical staff and the public
- Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask
- Skill in greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office programs including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook; familiar with electronic medical health care record systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- H.S. Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent work experience in field required
- BLS preferred
