Job Title: Acquisition Analyst (PIF)

Location: Huntsville AL - (On-site)

Canvas is seeking a Acquisition Analyst to support the Prototype Integration Facility in Huntsville AL. Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties:

• Perform contract closeout activities.
• Review and analyze contract requirements special provisions and terms/conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations corporate policies and procedures.
• Draft contractual instruments including subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Communicate contract policies and practices to internal business teams.
• Ensure contract review approval and execution in accordance with Contracting Center guidelines.
• Prepare correspondence negotiation memoranda and contract documentation for timely and coordinated submission.
• Maintain organized contract records and files documenting performance and compliance.
• Assist contract professionals in resolving issues and managing developments related to assigned contracts.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 7 years of relevant work experience
• Contract strategy development and management
• Oversight of various contract types and procurement methods
• Strong knowledge of government contracting principles and regulations
• Contract administration and oversight expertise
• Ability to serve effectively as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
• Leadership and team management skills
• Understanding of quality management systems (e.g. AS9100)
• Proficiency in systems acquisition management processes
• Knowledge of fiscal law and financial compliance
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
• Attention to detail and compliance monitoring
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Contracting and acquisition regulatory compliance financial analysis market research documentation stakeholder coordination negotiation and time management (desired)

Security Clearance: Secret Security clearance is required
