Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedIT Business Analyst Global Trade to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing designing and implementing IT solutions that support global trade operations. This position requires a strong understanding of global trade processes IT systems and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with global trade teams IT teams and external partners to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze current processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Design IT solutions to support global trade operations including customs compliance import/export processes and trade finance.
• Ensure solutions align with business goals regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Assist in the planning execution and delivery of IT projects related to global trade.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Facilitate workshops meetings and discussions to gather input and validate solutions.
• Ensure IT solutions comply with international trade regulations and standards.
• Identify potential risks and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
• Create detailed documentation including business requirements process flows and user guides.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status risks and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 6years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10years of prior related experience.
• Minimum 57 years of experience in Business Analyst preferably in global trade or supply chain operations.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience working with ERP systems and global trade management software.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with global trade systems such as Descartes OCR EASE or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data analysis reporting tools and process modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of international trade regulations customs compliance and import/export processes.
• PMP CBAP ITIL or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with trade finance supply chain operations and logistics processes.
• Experience with data integration APIs and system interfaces.
• Knowledge of automation tools and technologies.
