Location/Division Specific Information

This full-time role is based in Lebanon TN within our Manufacturing & Distribution division.

Discover Impactful Work:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and support the operations of a 400000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility including 60000 sq. ft. of cleanroom space. Your efforts will drive scientific breakthroughs in healthcare food safety and environmental protection.

A day in the Life:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
  • Conduct calibration and certification of cleanrooms and controlled environments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems instrumentation and equipment.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Secondary education in a technical field (completed or ongoing) OR
  • 3 years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Knowledge in electrical pneumatic mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with calibration subjects (temperature force humidity pressure etc.).
  • Willingness to learn new systems (e.g. HVAC PLC DI water vacuum systems).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Lift 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs. Frequent physical activities include stooping crawling and climbing. Work environments may involve noise chemicals and fast-paced equipment.
