Job Summary
Summary
The Domain Architect Data Management is a technical partner within Workivas Data Management Practice. This role supports customers and partners through onboarding implementation and adoption of Workiva solutions applying expertise in data management integration and automation to deliver long-term value.
The Domain Architect engages directly with customers and partners working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable data management solutions. By combining technical and business acumen with a focus on customer outcomes the Architect fosters strong relationships and helps organizations realize measurable value from Workivas platform.
What Youll Do
Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs data requirements and desired outcomes with Workiva solutions.
Engage with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience throughout onboarding and implementation
Analyze customer needs and recommend optimal use of Workivas Data Management Suite to achieve accurate efficient and scalable solutions
Work closely with consulting project delivery stakeholders to define tasks contribute to project plans and monitor progress
Review and establish data integration workflows between various customer systems and the Workiva platform
Review and develop data queries and reporting solutions that meet customer analytical and reporting requirements including mentoring internal and external stakeholders on leading practices
Support knowledge sharing sessions with customer and partner application owners to enable self-sufficiency and ongoing success.
Review and create documentation for deployed customer and partner solutions configurations and best practices
Support customer and partner success by fostering product adoption ensuring satisfaction and contributing to overall customer health
Collaborate with Customer Success and Partner Experience teams to define expected outcomes and demonstrate the value realized by customers and partners
Accurately document new and existing data management features and functionalities for internal and external reference
Stay educated on the Workiva product roadmap to provide effective support and guidance to customers
What Youll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a technical field of study such as Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or similar
3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success Solution Architecture or Consulting
Bilingual in Portuguese (Native/Executive level)
Must be available to work during core business hours in the Eastern Time (ET) zone
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be able to work standard business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (ET)
Experience integrating or managing Software-as-a-Service applications and enterprise systems especially in the fields of Accounting & Finance Audit Risk & Compliance or Sustainability
Expertise in various data structures and schemas from regulated industries (e.g. finance audit compliance sustainability etc.) with the ability to translate complex regulatory data requirements into intuitive software-driven workflows
Prior experience with integration technologies such as Informatica Microsoft SSIS Boomi Mulesoft Workato or similar solutions.
Knowledge of API design philosophy/patterns communication protocols (SOAP REST JSON XML) and encoding
Strong understanding of Data Engineering Data Warehousing and ETL techniques
Ability to create review and troubleshoot queries using SQL.
Experience with Python

Highly data-driven and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage time and prioritize demands.
Strong problem-solving skills with technical diagnostic ability
General computer technology skills (Word/Google Docs Excel/Google Sheets PowerPoint/Google Slides)
Ability to build credibility and relationships with both business stakeholders and technical leaders at various levels
Ability to influence at all levels and in various departments
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
15% Travel for internal meetings
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office
How Youll Be Rewarded
Salary range in the US: $111000.00 - $178000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
