As a Gas Process Service Technician youll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power grid infrastructure. How youll make an impact
Inspect and prepare gas cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling and distribution.
Conduct safety checks and analyze gas mixtures for purity and compliance.
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
Manage paperwork and quality control documentation to regulatory standards.
Load and unload cylinders ensuring proper handling and storage.
Interpret cylinder labels color codes and safety data sheets accurately.
Perform minor maintenance on electromechanical instruments and equipment.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your background
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in HVAC compressor skids maintenance or manufacturing operations.
Strong background in gas safety supply or chemical industry preferred.
Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets and technical diagrams.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
