The Electrical Engineer will design develop test and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for directing system engineering of electronic warfare systems
- Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective engineering support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped
Requirements
- A BA/BS is required in Electrical Engineering in addition to ten (10) years experience in electromagnetic system design analysis and testing with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power RF Laser and CIED systems and components
- Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics
- Prior experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems is preferred
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and /or move up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
