Position Responsibilities:
Help guide review and execute service-impacting changes associated with the Microsoft Exchange e-mail platform Microsoft Windows Operating system Network fabric and AWS public cloud resources. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets business goals security requirements adheres to technical best practices and is operationally ready to meet Amazons needs at scale. Implement DevSecOps processes to ensure that the global large-scale service stack is highly available reliable patched and secure performant and cost optimized. Leverage proficiency in high-level scripting language(s) to perform code reviews approves change requests and improve automation. Enhance documentation and acts as an mentor as well as an escalation point for System Engineer Is.
Position Requirements:
Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): 1) experience in Software Engineering DevOps and SysOps or in a Systems Engineering capacity supporting production IT service management; 2) experience with Microsoft Windows Server Microsoft Exchange Server or Exchange Online experience; 3) development experience in PowerShell Python or a related language; 4) Public Cloud infrastructure management experience; and 5) Agile methods and processes experience.
