Job Summary
Archaeologist needs Archaeologist Supervisor Historic Prehistoric Archeaology Phase I-III fieldwork Valid drivers license
Archaeologist requires:
- Archaeologist Supervisor Historic Prehistoric Archeaology Phase I-III fieldwork Valid drivers license
- A Masters Degree from an accredited school in anthropology archaeology or a closely related field.
- Must meet the Secretary of the Interiors Qualification Standards for Archaeologists.
- 4 years of experience including at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology.
- Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I-III fieldwork.
- Must be able to provide a writing sample from either a thesis dissertation or archaeological report.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist
- Familiarity with ArcGISPro Field Maps Google Earth and/or other GIS programs
- Experience obtaining a Texas Antiquities Permit
- Significant lab and curation experience
- Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology
- Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I-III fieldwork
- Must be able to provide a writing sample from either a thesis dissertation or archaeological report
