Overview

Monterey Park Hospital a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy Department. This is a full-time 12-hour variable shift position reporting to the Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist provides Respiratory procedures without direct observation. Evaluates patients response to respiratory treatments. Performs assessment on patients according to current departmental policy. Monitors performance of respiratory related equipment. Performs specific diagnostic tests relevant to Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Care and Ventilator Management.

Qualifications

Current CA RCP License.
Current BLS ACLS PALS (AHA) and NRP certification upon hire.
