Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Manager to build strong partnerships with operations leaders aligning HR initiatives with overall business strategies. This role supports the Human Resources function by handling a variety of administrative tasks and plays a vital role in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include supporting employee relations recruitment onboarding benefits administration and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The HR Coordinator helps ensure that day-to-day HR operations are efficient consistent and employee-focused.

Escential functions:

  • Assist with the recruitment process including job postings screening resumes and scheduling interviews.

  • Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes for employees including orientation and exit interviews.

  • Maintain and update employee records both digital and physical in compliance with legal requirements.

  • Support benefits administration such as enrollments changes and employee inquiries.

  • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (e.g. absences bonuses leaves).

  • Organize and coordinate HR events such as trainings staff meetings and employee recognition programs.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

  • Maintain HR documents such as organizational charts and job descriptions.

  • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.

  • Maintain and monitor office supplies including request purchase of any needed materials including uniforms.

Other work activities:

  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.

  • Prepare badges passes and identification cards and perform other security-related duties.

  • Arrange for in-house and external training activities.

  • Support Managers and supervisors with any administrative requests related to HR including time an attendance issues.

  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

  • Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws regulations or standards.

  • Monitoring Processes Materials or Surroundings Monitoring and reviewing information from materials events or the environment to detect or assess problems.

Qualifcations:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • 13 years of HR experience or administrative support role preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR software (e.g. HRIS ATS).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Strong customer service skills.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).

  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday BambooHR or ADP.

  • Basic knowledge and proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

  • Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and records stenography and transcription designing forms and workplace terminology.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

  • This role does not have supervisión resposibilities

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $25100.00 - $40200.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidates primary work location pay grade and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
