The Project Specialist will support programs in The Kraft Center for Community Health at Mass General Brigham (MGB). The Kraft Center is focused on leading innovation in community health and aims to catalyze innovative solutions to real world community health problems execute solutions locally and make them scalable and ready to spread nationally to improve health outcomes for communities in need throughout the Commonwealth and nationally. The project specialist will also support outreach and enrollment for 6-week clinical program HEART of Communities designed to improve type 2 diabetes mellitus blood pressure cholesterol and weight management control.

Job Summary

Summary
Responsible for managing and assisting with the implementation of new projects and initiatives. Assists leaders and stakeholders in all facets of project work from discovery to implementation. Works on multiple team projects simultaneously and may serve as project manager for a small project or a portion of a larger project. Focuses on project management details including identifying gaps and follow-up actions that maximize project outcomes.

Essential Functions
-Takes the lead in maintaining and monitoring multiple project plans schedules work hours budgets and expenditures.

-Organizes attends and participates in stakeholder meetings.

-Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

-Assesses and escalates project risks and issues and provides solutions.

-Conducts research maintains and analyzes data in systems and develops reports to support projects.

-Liaise with the project team and key stakeholders to help define project requirements scope and objectives that align with organizational goals.

-Assigns and monitors resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables.

Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study required
