- Take full ownership of the entire lifecycle of supplement formulation from concept development to market-ready recipes
- Definetheproductpurposeandexactdosagecreatingprecisetheoreticalformulationsbyselectingandbalancingactiveingredients
- Conductspecificationchecksverifyrawmaterialavailabilityandensureaccuracyofactivecontentcalculationstakingintoaccountphysicalpropertiessuchasgranulationsizemoisturecontentandhomogeneity
- Troubleshootformulationchallengesincludingstabilitycompatibilitycapsulefilllimitsdiscolorationorstickiness
- Lead the scale-up process together with manufacturing partners including root cause analysis of production stoppages and optimize formulations for consistent scalable manufacturing
- CollaboratewiththeQualitydepartmentandexternallaboratoriestoconfirmcomplianceandtakecorrectiveactionwhenresultsareunsatisfactory
- Maintainacomprehensiveformulationdatabasetocontinuouslyimproveproductdevelopmentefficiency
- Work closely with cross-functional partners like R&D Supply Chain and Regulatory to ensure smooth handover into commercial production
- Reformulation across the entire product lifecycle including raw material substitutions or specification changes
Your profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Science Nutrition Chemistry Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline
- Professional experience in pharmaceutical development nutraceuticals OTC / product development dietary supplement manufacturing ideally with a strong interest in transitioning toward clean-label nutraceutical approaches
- Proven track record in developing and manufacturing nutraceutical or dietary supplement formulations with deep expertise in single-dosage form development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail capable of managing multiple development projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to combine scientific precision with business considerations to deliver competitive and compliant products
- Excellentcommunicationskillstoclearlyexplaincomplexformulationdecisionstocross-functionalteams
- Based in Berlin (Germany) or Warsaw (Poland) or willing to relocate to one of these locations
