Tax Operations is seeking a new member to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global Tax Operations function (Documentation Transaction Tax International Tax Reclaims Withholding and Reporting). Your role will be responsible for analyzing new rules process changes and supporting tax regulatory compliance for the firm.

Responsibilities Include

Daily US controls that include daily reconciliation of all US reportable and withholdable payments.

Responsible for Tax offset account balancing and IRS remittance cost basis lot remediation and position reconciliation for 1099-B reporting.

Manage the firms compliance with global tax and regulatory obligations

Validate global tax forms and setup client classifications across multiple databases

Manage corporate action taxability (304-305 events) processing and determination of fair market value to support tax withholding and reporting

Analyze and provide tax feedback on new activity reviews to support implementation of new products services and geographical activity

Lead business analysis on global regulatory changes new rules and process improvements

Process large amounts of data to transmit to third party vendors and clients

Respond to a high volume of internal and external client and third-party inquiries

Manage exception processing as needed and perform reconciliations to support controls and tax compliance

Complete tax-related processes across multiple TD legal entities and business lines

Consolidate a high volume of data from multiple sources and load into Tax databases

Manage KPIs across global tax functions

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years work experience

Masters in Tax or Business Administration preferred

Experience with Tax Asset Servicing Business Analysis and Project Management

Ability to identify escalate and resolve problems/issues

Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates strong analytical critical thinking and organizational skills

Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and operational excellence.

Flexibility and ability to learn quickly

Ability to roll up your sleeves and be hands on

Ability to work across time zones and in a multicultural setting.

A desire to learn and take on increasingly new and challenging tasks
