Job Summary
Job Summary
Collects and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the department.
Essential Functions
Performs statistical cost and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Assists on business issues including financial and profitability analysis.
Develops solutions to problems which require ingenuity creativity and innovation.
Participates in annual audit and other state audits when they arise.
Performs month end close pertaining to grant service lines and grant management.
Collaborates with assigned areas of the organization and/or senior level analysts or leadership to analyze financial data.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent Accounting finance business administration economics statistics or related field
3 year of relevant experience in finance accounting or related work Required
Preferred
Masters Degree
Proven grant accounting experience
LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - STATEMI State of Michigan
