Job Summary
About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in Private Equity SaaS or Tech startup environments and thrives in a dynamic fast-paced setting. Youll play a critical role in forecasting budgeting and delivering strategic financial insights that support key business decisions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and refine integrated financial models (P&L Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) to generate insights that guide forecasting planning and strategic decision-making
- Support cash flow forecasting and play a key role in both short- and long-term liquidity planning through data-driven insights
- Collaborate with Accounting to maintain consistency between budgets forecasts and reported financials
- Facilitate operating expense planning forecasting and variance analysis in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Leverage NetSuite and other transactional systems for reporting data extraction and reconciliations that support FP&A deliverables
- Enhance FP&A processes reporting accuracy and analytical frameworks through continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the evaluation implementation and optimization of FP&A tools and systems
- Lead ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational initiatives
- Foster a collaborative solutions-oriented team culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A corporate finance or Private Equity ideally in SaaS PE-backed or other high-growth environments
- Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling scenario analysis and pivot tables)
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite; exposure to FP&A tools or system implementations a plus
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics forecasting and financial modeling best practices
- Working knowledge of GAAP to ensure forecasts reconcile with reported results
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear actionable insights for stakeholders
