PWS (Performance Work Statement):
- The Contractor shall provide Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT) services to perform Computed Tomography (CT) and General Radiography (X-ray) imaging for the VA Northport Healthcare System (Northport NY). Responsibilities include producing diagnostic images operating and maintaining imaging equipment preparing sterile supplies administering contrast (as required) verifying patient identity and ensuring accurate documentation. The technologist shall adhere to all VA policies and procedures infection control and safety standards. Personnel must provide imaging coverage as assigned including assisting in X-ray when CT workload permits.
Qualification:
- Must be ARRT certified in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing radiographic and CT procedures.
- Must hold current BLS certification.
- Must meet VA Qualification Standards (GS-0647) per VA Handbook 5005/119 Appendix G25.
- Must speak read and write English fluently.
- Must pass VA credentialing and background checks prior to start.
- NPI DEA and state license not required for this position.
Period of Performance (POP):
- Base Period: One (1) year from award date.
- Option Periods: Four (4) additional one-year options (typical VA structure).
- Proposal Due Date (extended): October 31 2025 at 3:00 PM EDT (per Amendment 0001).
- Applicable Wage Determination: WD #12305 Radiologic Technologist (Service Contract Act).
Work Hours: 24/7 coverage required including weekends and Federal holidays. Day shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Evening shift: 3:30 PM 12:00 AM Night shift: 11:30 PM 8:00 AM
