Technical Instructional Designer II

BAM is seeking a Technical Instructional Designer to join its team. TheTechnical Instructional Designer II is a mid-level technical role responsible for designing delivering and evaluating training programs that enhance users effectiveness in a platform. This role focuses on developing instructional materials facilitating hands-on training and ensuring compliance with operational standards and safety protocols. The Specialist collaborates with scrum team members product owners and support specialists to develop onboarding upskilling and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Have a clear understanding of the platforms technical architecture and be able to effectively translate this knowledge into training materials.
  • Develop and deliver training materials that are easily understood by end users and AI services.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments feedback and performance metrics.
  • Stay current with industry best practices technologies and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in full-stack development with an emphasis on customer interaction technical documentation and training exercises
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript Angular).
  • Experience with back-end development (.NET Python).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as CPTD Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of instructional design software (e.g. Articulate Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience with performance coaching and workforce development programs.
  • Background in AI/ML data engineering or advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
