Williamstown Hostel (Williamstown)
Part Time Basis
- Competitive pay rates: $30.04 - $30.82/hr depending on qualifications and experience
- Part Time Basis 7 shifts per fortnight
- Based at our Williamstown Hostel in Williamstown (VIC)
Your new role
Wintringham is currently seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our tight-knit and friendly Domestic Services team atWilliamstown Hostel on a Part time basis. As a Domestic Services Assistant you will be working across our cleaning and laundry teams. Be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where your dedication to excellence is recognised and valued.
Your roster is as below:
Week 1: Tuesday & Friday ()
Week 2: Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday & Sunday ()
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
- To clean resident rooms common areas office spaces cleaners and staff room as scheduled
- To replenish & maintain stock levels
- Cleaning & Laundry duties as per schedule
- To ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times
- Assist the Food Services team with delivery and serving of food and drinks as scheduled
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role preferably in Aged Care/Health Care
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- A non-judgmental approach to working with people
- Qualifications and experience in food handling infection control manual handling and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous)
- Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous)
- Physically able to perform manual tasks including (but not limited to) bending & lifting
