Our Labor and Delivery Unit was designed exclusively for new moms and babies and we are proud to be a Baby Friendly Hospital. Womans has delivered more than 320000 babies since our inception in 1968 but we still treat every birth as unique and special. Our patient rooms designed by nurses offer a home-like setting along with the assurance of having the most advanced technology available. A typical obstetrical patient includes antepartum observation outpatient testing circulating cesarean deliveries triage and laboring patients who are minimal to high-risk.
The Nurse Tech supports the nursing staff by performing routine clerical and patient care activities and assigned tasks within the scope of his/her training. Performs other duties as assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Womans Hospital.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be currently enrolled in a registered nurse program at an accredited school of nursing.
- Must be actively participating in a clinical rotation with completion no later than December 2025 and must have an anticipated graduation date in Spring or Fall 2027.
Hours
PRN (As Needed);Required to work 12 hours per biweekly pay period (24 hours a month).
Pay
$14.18 - $20.03 base; plus applicable PRN and shift differentials
