Job Summary
Position Description: AcademicOphthalmology Uveitis Specialist - Open Rank The Department of Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking an academically-oriented uveitis specialist to join its full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. This would be a full-time position with career advancement and tenure eligibility in the future. The position entails clinical activity at the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin and at one or more satellite clinics. MCW consists of a School of Medicine with campuses in Milwaukee Green Bay and central Wisconsin a School of Graduate Studies and a Pharmacy School. The beautiful safe and modern campus of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center (MRMC) houses Froedtert Hospital Childrens Wisconsin Curative Care Network Versiti Blood Research Institute and the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division. These member entities share a common mission of excellence in patient care medical education biomedical research and community service.
Position Requirements: Candidates must be board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology completion of a U.S. Uveitis Fellowship program eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
