Join us as a Civil Structures Foreperson in Christchurch!

As a Foreperson in our Civil team you will lead a crew to deliver work safety on time and to the highest quality standard. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations including the coordination of all employees plant resources and subcontract personnel in your area of control.

In addition to the above you will:

• Ensure your team adheres to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate plan and organise plant labour and subcontractors to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
• Maximise daily productivity of your team while ensuring a high quality of work.
• Foster a safe work environment by educating site workers on construction safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Were looking for someone with:

• A Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil construction industry or similar.
• Full clean class 1 licence and WTR endorsements.
• A background in retaining structures formwork temporary works civil construction reinforced concrete and/or timber.
• Sound knowledge of building and construction safety regulations.
• A proactive approach to health and safety its our #1 priority!
• Outstanding leadership skills with proven experience supervising and leading crews.
• The ability to communicate clear expectations to your team and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
