Job Summary
A Boyertown PA based sheet metal fabricator seeking to hire a Design Engineer to join their team. Job requirements: Past experience working with CAM software and programming CNC machine tools including but not limited to cutting/punching/folding; Possess knowledge of other fabrication processes such as welding (TIG/MIG) and spot-welding; Have working knowledge of finishing processes including powder-coating zinc-plating electro-polishing and anodizing; Be able to develop bill-of-materials and job routers for a wide array of fabrication consisting of proprietary and commercial materials and components; Have an understanding of MRP systems; Possess strong interpersonal skills capable of communicating with customers and shop floor personnel alike: BS degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years of relevant job experience.
