About the role

As National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) is at the heart of energy in the UK we have a big part to play in supporting the delivery of a decarbonised energy system.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our London & South-East team within the Infrastructure Delivery business unit with the immediate focus being London Power Tunnels 2 a 1 billion project to rewire South London via 32km of new underground tunnels and cables is vital to help keep Londoners connected to safe and reliable electricity supplies.

About You
Were looking for someone who is motivated and committed to getting their projects delivered safely on time and to budget. Someone who can inspire and empower our people for great performance.
You will have a background in project management/engineering have strong commercial acumen and experience leading cross functional teams in an operational environment with a good understanding of financial management and reporting at Portfolio level.
Ideally you will have a degree or qualification in project management engineering or equivalent experience. Youll also need a driving licence that permits you to drive in the UK.
Your time will be spent between home and 2-3 days a week across our sites throughout South London.
