About the Role
The Senior Quality Management Application Specialist provides technical leadership supervision and expert support for the Sonova electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). The role is responsible for the day-to-day operation configuration development and lifecycle management of the eQMS ensuring that the platform reliably supports global Quality Management processes compliance requirements and business needs.
Acting as a key interface between Quality IT vendors and process owners the specialist translates user and compliance requirements into system functionalities and contributes to the continuous improvement of digital quality capabilities across Sonova. This includes system maintenance release management problem resolution and ongoing optimization of the eQMS to enable efficiency scalability and excellence in quality operations.
What Youll Do
System Administration & Daily Operations
Day-to-day operation and configuration of the Sonova eQMS including management of platform functionality workflows design elements appearance tabs and system settings.
Ensure smooth system performance timely resolution of support tickets and proactive mitigation of technical issues.
Project Product & Release Management
Support the eQMS System Owner in project and product management for process enhancements workflow development and platform improvement initiatives.
Supervise oversee and directly contribute to the development testing validation and implementation of eQMS releases and upgrades.
Provide structured feedback on defects system usage and enhancement opportunities.
Partnership with Process & Module Owners
Support eQMS module owners in configuring user profiles reports dashboards and system customization.
Advise stakeholders on best practices for design configuration and usage of eQMS functionalities.
Supervise and coordinate vendor activities to ensure timely updates maintenance and issue resolution.
Compliance Quality & IT Alignment
Provide accurate and timely data to support IT application compliance policies and computerized system validation requirements.
Ensure ongoing alignment with global IT data integrity and quality system standards.
Training & Cross-Functional Support
Deliver training and best-practice guidance to eQMS users module owners and administrators across Sonova.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies trends and innovations applicable to eQMS platforms.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize system workflows enhance user experience and automate or digitalize manual processes.
Recommend and help implement system improvements that elevate efficiency and compliance maturity.
