Status/Hours: Full-Time 40 hours per week.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for accurately collecting and entering patient demographic and insurance information as well as performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. All duties must be carried out with a strong focus on patient safety satisfaction accuracy confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
- Professionally receiving and directing telephone calls and inquiries
- Greets and assists patients visitors and staff entering the hospital
- Obtains initial patient information including demographics and insurance information; reviews and maintains patient data.
- Maintaining accurate records reports and ongoing logs as requested
- Keeping detailed records of all inpatients

Education Skills and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have excellent telephone etiquette.
- Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
Schedule:
- M-F 8a-4:30p
- With consideration to our patients and staff needs you may need to work on days evenings nights weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other departments.
