About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Assessor who will be responsible for:

• Working in collaboration with team counterparts to plan conduct and deliver security assessments of the Cloud Platform Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Services and other cloud adoption technologies
• Identify and engage relevant security authorities subject matter experts and business stakeholders in security assessment activities via face-to-face written and online communications channels
• Conduct cloud security assessments methodically and in accordance with a defied team process aligned with the ISM risk-based approach to cyber security.

The Successful Candidate

You are a proactive and innovative security assessor with:

• First-hand experience conducting and delivering security risk assessments for large and complex technology solutions
• The ability to communicate security threats risks mitigations and recommendations clearly with influence
• Ability to work in a team environment with common goals and priorities
• Relevant IT Security qualifications and certifications.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT QLD or VIC

Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date plus potential extensions

Security Requirements: Current NV2 as a minimum. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.
