Role Overview :
The Oracle Commerce Cloud Functional Specialist will provide production support and expertise in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) including catalog management pricing promotions and user experience. This is a functional role requiring strong knowledge of e commerce processes customer journeys and best practices for online retail. The specialist will work with business and IT stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues configure Oracle Retail Order Management (OROMS) and Oracle Retail Order Broker (OROB) and implement functional enhancements to improve platform performance and customer experience.
Experience / Skills Required :
Experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) functionality including catalog management pricing promotions and user experience
Experience with incident management processes (tracking escalation communication)
Experience with Oracle Retail Order Management (OROMS) and Oracle Retail Order Broker (OROB)
Experience configuring and maintaining order management and broker systems (business rules workflows and order processing configurations)
Experience managing the end-to-end order processing lifecycle (order creation validation fulfillment and tracking)
Experience providing functional support to users (addressing inquiries clarifying platform features resolving issues)
Tasks To Be Performed / Skillsets Required:
Understand overall architecture and provide consulting support
Assist users and stakeholders in understanding platform features processes configurations and provide guidance on navigation and best practices
Collaborate with business and IT teams to investigate and resolve issues including pricing discrepancies product catalog inaccuracies and checkout process problems
Proactively identify areas for process improvement and enhanced user experience
Collaborate with business and IT teams to implement functional enhancements and updates
Configure and maintain OROMS and OROB systems defining rules workflows and processing configurations
Manage end-to-end order lifecycle to ensure accuracy and timely execution
Document incidents resolutions and workarounds; contribute to knowledge base to empower users
Resolve order-related issues and escalations promptly
Years Experience Desired :
Overall 12 Years of IT experience
3 years with Oracle Commerce Cloud applications
5 years with non-Cloud Oracle applications
Certification Preferred:
Oracle Commerce Cloud certification
