Job Summary
This is an unpaid position.
BAYADA Hospice is looking for Volunteers!
BAYADA Hospice is currently seeking Volunteersto be a part of our team. Our office located in Norwich VT services clients in territories throughout Windsor and Orange countiesin Vermontand Grafton and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire.
At BAYADA Hospice we believe that our clients and their families deserve care delivered with compassion excellence and reliability. Your important work will help ensure that our clients come first and that our BAYADA caregivers have the support they need to be successful.
Volunteers Opportunities may include:
- Track your volunteer hours (prep travel and activity included) with the volunteer coordinator.
- Patient visits (Companionship Reading Life review Exercise)
- Legacy projects to help the family remember their loved one (arts / cooking / music/ etc)
- Reading Movies Crafts Activities at Senior living facilities
- Pet therapy (if you have a therapy animal)
- Virtual projects from home or around your town (singing art crafts reading music)
- Office projects (companionship calls or office help)
- Gardening program assistance
- Bereavement support
- Vigil companionship

Qualifications:
- Ability to read write and effectively communicate.
- Have a criminal background check completed as per state requirements.
- Meet all state requirements for volunteers where applicable.
