Cosmos DB Developer

• Develop and deploy advanced data structures indexing tactics and partitioning frameworks within Azure Cosmos DB.
• Develop high-performance queries using SQL API MongoDB API or other supported APIs.
• Lead the integration of Cosmos DB with modern digital platforms such as web portals mobile apps and cloud services.
• Build and maintain secure scalable RESTful APIs and serverless functions using Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• Design and implement real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid Service Bus and Data Factory.
• Supervise and optimize database performance scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers cloud architects and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews technical guidelines and architectural decisions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance security and privacy standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation for architecture data flows and integration patterns.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps workflows including automated testing and deployment.
• Stay ahead of Azure and Cosmos DB updates evaluate new features and recommend adoption strategies.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in NoSQL database development with at least 3 years focused on Azure Cosmos DB.
• Proven experience integrating Cosmos DB with modern digital applications and cloud-native services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems consistency models and multi-region deployments.
• Proficiency in Azure services including Azure Functions Logic Apps Event Grid and Data Factory.
• Expertise in RESTful API development microservices architecture and secure data access.
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
  

• Azure certifications related to data engineering or architecture.
• Experience with real-time analytics and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
