Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of part-time Math Tutor.
Responsibilities include working in small groups to support students with math concepts taught in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Management skills that support learning
- Ability to collaborate in order to meet the needs of students
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for small group instruction
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current teacher certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
Part-time position (less than 19.5 hours per week)- schedule to be determined by building administrator.
