Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and be the go-to expert on pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials! You will ensure top-notch preparation and dispensing of investigational compounds while maintaining high standards in our facilities and processes.
This is a full-time office-based position in Daytona Beach FL.
If you join us you will work with some of the worlds leading pharmaceutical biotechnology and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will utilize your skills knowledge and expertise to provide a high standard of care and support in a clinical setting.
Other key responsibilities:
Coordinate with Sponsors to showcase pharmacy and dispensing capabilities.
Develop and review study protocols pharmacy manuals and preparation logs.
Engage with regulatory bodies relevant to the pharmacy department.
Serve as a technical advisor to clinical teams and other departments.
Ensure pharmacy facilities and processes comply with current regulations and guidelines.
Enhance and maintain pharmacy processes and equipment.
Conduct pharmacy feasibility reviews for new proposals.
Implement and oversee standard processes to maintain good dispensing practices.
All other duties as needed or assigned.
YOU NEED TO BRING
Registered Pharmacist/Pharm D per applicable state requirements.
Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
2 yrs. Pharmacy experience required.
Sterile compounding required.
Individuals with direct research hospital or long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred.

Fast paced: where no deviations from the study protocol are allowed and not meeting a timeline for even few minutes will create a quality issue.
Changing priorities constantly asking you to prioritize and adapt on the spot.
Teamwork and people skills are essential for the study to run smoothly.
Technology based. We collect our data directly into an electronic environment.
